Dental implants are a long term, natural looking solution to missing teeth. They don’t only replace the visible part of the tooth that you can see. Dental implants replace the tooth root thus aiding in better function, but without compromising the health of other teeth.

A titanium screw gradually fuses itself to your existing bone, this helps the implant to secure itself firmly in position. Once situated, a restoration would be added to the top of the implant. The Restoration would be matched to the colour of your other teeth.  When replacing all of your teeth you are able to choose the colour which you prefer them to be.

Unlike other missing teeth replacements, your dental implant will act, look and feel just like that of a natural tooth and they typically last much longer than other conventional methods. This is because the whole tooth is being replaced, and its not using another tooth for stability.

Most people believe that dental implants are only used to replace single missing teeth, although they can actually be used to replace multiple missing teeth.

Your initial consultation is £49 and this is to discuss the different options available to you with the dentist, what the process would involve and if its something you are likely suitable for. If its something you are interested in going ahead with, we would then refer you for a CBCT scan and take further diagnostic images to ensure the best possible treatment outcome. This fee is not included in the consultation fee and will be discussed by the dentist if you wish to proceed.
